Sharing Christmas Joy in the Whisper Creek Pavilion
In the true spirit of Christmas, a wonderful group of Whisper Creekers will gather together in joy and conviviality to share Christmas Dinner in the screened pavilion rather than the Rec Hall this year due to its untimely closing for construction.
Parking will be available across from the Whisper Creek office. We respectfully ask that attendees leave the parking spaces nearest to the pavilion free for those with mobility challenges. Volunteers will help to run the food deliveries to the pavilion in order to maintain a clear path and avoid congestion.
Thank you so very much for helping to make this a wonderful gathering together despite the change in circumstances.
Wishing you and yours the merriest, most blessed Christmas celebrations!
Sincerely,
The Whisper Creek Central Committee
Remember to bring games to play with family and friends after dinner. What a lovely way to spend Christmas afternoon!
The large Rec Hall is posted CLOSED for construction and will remain so until further notice from the office. At this time it is unclear how long it will take to finish the job and get the hall cleaned. We are truly sorry for the interruption and inconvenience these repairs have caused.
The following changes and caveats apply to the WCCC activity schedule.
ICE CREAM SOCIAL is cancelled Sunday, December 22.
MONDAY CARDS Euchre, Hand & Foot & Card Bingo are cancelled Dec. 23.
BINGO will not be played Tuesday, December 23.
BOWLING will take place on both Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve days.
PÉTANQUE and SHUFFLEBOARD will not be played on Christmas Day.
PLEASE CHECK THE WHISPER CREEK WEBSITE DAILY FOR THE LATEST CHANGES AND UPDATES REGARDING ACTIVITIES.
Thank you, Whisper Creek, for making this a record year for Toys For Tots. Katie picked up the final load and we had a whopping 325 toys. She said that we are her best collection stop. Your generosity to the kids is awesome ~ they are sure to appreciate them all. Merry Christmas!
